Say Hi to EVERYBODY!
Shortly after posting my video of the lady telling my wife and I to “Speak F@$king English” on Facebook, it started to spread throughout the Greek community like a wild fire; mostly due to The Pappas Post picking up the story and running with it. At the end of the video I can be heard saying, “Say Hi to Everybody!”, but I didn’t actually think “everybody” meant “EVERYBODY“! What really shocked me was how quickly news outlets started picking it up…and before we knew it, we went viral! Below is a compilation of the various outlets that picked up, or shared, the story. Not only has the original video been viewed over 700,000 times, but you’ll notice that collectively among all the other social media and news outlets, its been viewed millions of times! Its pretty remarkable, and still very surreal.

So this just happened... Sophia and I were in line at the market, and naturally, speaking Greek. Out of nowhere this lady behind us decides to give us a modern history lesson and tells us, "Speak F*@king English, this is America." Furthermore, she demonstrated her well-versed use of the English language by using every swear word to describe us and how we don't belong here. Imagine if we were with our kids. Huge props to the manager for kicking her xenophobic, racist ass out. I only caught the tail-end on video, but you'll get the point. Seriously. This. Just. Happened.
