Euro 2020 Qualifiers Group Draw: Greece

Greece drew an interesting group for the UEFA Euro 2020 Qualifiers. And I say interesting because rankings-wise, it couldn’t get any better. BUT, you can never count on Italy or Bosnia-Herzegovina playing at the level of their rankings. In most of the recent tournaments we’ve struggled against Bosnia, and Italy is, well, Italy.

Group J (Team, World Rank)

  • Italy #18
  • Bosnia #34
  • Greece #43
  • Finland #58
  • Armenia #101
  • Liechtenstein #181

How Qualifying Works

Every team in a group plays each other twice, with the top two in each section qualifying automatically for the finals. That’s 20 of the 24 finals places taken care of, with a further four filled via the play-offs.
